As Vice President of Operations at Health Improvement Solutions, Kane oversees and assists with purchasing, marketing, research initiatives, publication manuscript development, manuscript peer reviews, presentation development, RFP development and vendor response evaluation, grant proposals, staff supervision, quality control, and product development.

Prior to joining Health Improvement Solutions, Kane was employed at Nebraska Medical Center working with the Well Workplace Platinum Award winning health promotion program. He later became the Graduate Assistant for Fitness and Wellness Programming at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where from 2002-2004 while earning his Master’s Degree in Health and Fitness Management, he evolved the University’s health improvement program to receive the Silver Well Workplace Award.

He remains affiliated with the University as an Adjunct Faculty member instructing courses in the Exercise Science undergraduate program.
